Frequently Asked Questions

I can’t make either of the tryouts?

No worries. Contact us today to get your kid seen by one of our coaches. They will be invited to come out and train with their peers so a skills assessment can be made. Send us a message using our contact form or call Coach Matt Oswald at (850) 499-8515.

When will I know if my child has made it on a team?

All coaches will contact every player that came and tried out for a team within 48 hours of the final tryout date. This is true whether they have made the team or not. We encourage you to talk with the coach as much as possible as they are the best person to give you constructive notes on your child’s current ability and how it compares to local and regional players.

I play multiple sports. Can I play travel soccer and do my other sport at the same time?

We understand multi-sport kids. We recommend they come and tryout and see what they think. You should also talk with the coach when they call to inform you about your child making the team. If you can work out an arrangement with the coach, then that is the best solution. However our main goal is to train and compete to be the best at soccer. So long as you understand that most of our coaches will count attendance and punctuality toward play time in games and tournament, then you will be able to set the right expectation for you and your family. We always encourage multi-sport kids to at least continue playing recreation soccer in their local city league.

If I make the team, how much will it cost.

If your child is offered a position on a team, here is a list of the basic fees you will be expected to pay. Pricing is subject to change:

  • $130 – full season (fall and spring), $80 – spring season only.
  • $240 to $300 – coach and field rental fee which covers 4 months of training, 2 days a week for 1 1/2 to 2 hour sessions. Price varies by team according to skill level and age.
  • $130 – uniform (includes 1 practice t-shirt, 2 jerseys, 1 pair shorts, 2 pair socks and 1 soccer backpack)
  • $120 – $150 – tournament fees. Includes 3 area tournaments. Final price depends on age group, skill level and location of tournament.

RAD offers convenient online payment options through Paypal.

Do you offer scholarships?

RAD never wants to keep a kid from playing soccer because of their social or financial situation. We will do everything we can to keep them on the field and in the game. However, they must first tryout and make the team. If they make a team, then we will discuss scholarships in a private, one-on-one meeting.

Each team may also do their own fundraising events. Fundraisers are a great way to generate money for your team to have a scholarship fund or simply to travel, have team awards, social events and more.
